The Underground Railroad, By Colson Whitehead, the novel is a winner of the National Book Award in fiction, and I am a big fan of the books they award. I also have read that this book has something new to say: about America’s foundational sins & I believe we can never learn enough.
I have been wanting to read All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. I love war romances and this looks like one of Anthony Doerr’s best novels yet!
